I am all about finding what I call, “hidden little gems.” Quite simply, this is just discovering something unexpected in an unexpected time or place. One of the biggest complaints I have about the area in which we are currently living is the lack of good restaurants. I’m originally from the Columbus area, where if you can think it when it comes to food, you can find it. I grew up with no end of delicious, unique choices when it came to food. I then spent four years in Huntington, WV (see “Black Sheep Burrito And Brews”). Huntington certainly had fewer places than Columbus, but still offered plenty of variety to keep me happy.
